Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat is a Cabinet Minister in the Uttarakhand government and represents the Srinagar Garhwal constituency. He was born in a remote village in Pauri Garhwal. He completed his early education locally and did a master’s and a PhD in History from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University.
He is a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has held key portfolios including higher education, health, disaster management, cooperatives, and dairy development. Dr. Rawat blends administrative experience with a strong commitment to public service and regional development in the Himalayan state. He is doing tremendous work to develop the state by providing the best platform for education.
